[Money-matters] Dividend Update

HAMILTON, BERMUDA--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 7, 2008 -- 
Nordic American Tanker Shipping Ltd. ("NAT" or "the Company") today
announced its results for the 3rd quarter of 2008. Based on its results for
the quarter, the Company will pay a dividend of $1.61 per share on or about
December 2nd to shareholders of record as of November 21st. Following this
dividend payment, the Company will have paid a dividend for 45 consecutive
quarters since the autumn of 1997 when the first three vessels in the
Company's fleet were delivered and commenced operations.
 
Update:
NAT  Nordic American Tanker on our dividend payers list just announced it
will pay a 1.61 a share dividend in 2 weeks! That's why we hold them!
