Booking out a month minimum is usually a good idea as we fill his calendar
pretty full each month and the days seem to fill fast. The time is fine. He

Great thanks. Our education committee is meeting on Feb 14th and I will
place on agenda for final approval. We will have all the supplies here. If

Hi again 

For attendance of 35 or so he said no problem, he will not charge. (but I
will have him take the freebies for me!)

He said he can speak on what inflation is and how real estate can help
protect investors which should be enlightening.

Wherever he goes, audiences love his manner and information. You will find
the same. He will do the hour talk no problem. Without exception, audiences
always ask for more and I am not kidding on this. Be prepared to run late! 

Classes ARE available and for that we would accept the payment. (Usually 3
hour classes run $199.00 per) but again he said to discuss it with you if
you want a long class. 

He does require a chalk or grease board of at least 2ft x 4 ft with pens and
eraser and any promotion must be accompanied by his trademark graphic which
we can email you once I know the size you need for publication or poster.

JT,

Typically the speakers for the rise and shine are gratis, since they only
speak for 20 minutes (around 35 people attend our weekly meeting). We
usually give a token of our appreciation such as a gas card and the like.
The speakers for the hour and half Lunch and Learns, usually do not charge.
We charge our members 10.00,  all proceeds go to our scholarship fund. For
speakers who charge for a classes lasting  1-2 hours (# attendees depend on
the speaker)we charge around 20.00pp to pay for the speaker.  I do not have
the authority  to approve an hourly  price it must go through the committee.
I am simply the liaison between the EDU committee and the speakers.  If Mark
would like compensation, I can run the 35.00 an hour past the committee, but
I do not believe we could meet the 125.00 hourly cost. Let me know your
thoughts.

Non profits usually runs free to 35.00 per hour

For profit usually runs 125.00/ hour but he often discounts and extends for
no extra

So what would you like me to tell him? 

How many people also will be there? This has a big bearing on whether he
will petition for pay or not.

Thank you for getting back to me. The EDU committee was wondering if Mark
could present a "Rise and Shine" at  the association. How this works is once
a month we have a speaker come and present a 20 minute presentation to our
membership. The speaker speaks from 8:30 to 8:50. I do not know if that is
too short of a time for Mark to speak on financial matters if so, we also
present a Lunch N Learn which runs for an hour and half and is usually held
on a Thursday or Friday from 11:30 to 1:00. Mark can speak on any topic that
he finds is current in the market place  or one that might speak to
independent contractors such as Realtors.
