Money Matters Airs this Thursday at noon  PST    Park Your Money      Where
to put your money this summer and fall. 

Also kvmr fans and music lovers. KVMR talent show and musical extravanganza
is happening next Thursday night at the Center for the Arts! This is a fund
raiser for our great station and you will have a blast! Artists from KVMR
will perform music, dance, comedy and who knows what else with many
surprises. Here are the details. Lets Party ! 

KVMR Birthday Celebration and Talent Show

When:  Thursday, August 5th, 2010

Time:  Doors open at 5:00pm, Entertainment begins at 6:00pm

Where: Center for the Arts, Grass Valley

Tickets: $15 member; $20 Non-member

box office, and at the door.

KVMR proudly presents its Birthday Celebration and Talent Show on August
5th, 2010 at the Center for the Arts in Grass Valley.  KVMR, 89.5FM is
celebrating its 32nd Birthday with a talent show to entertain the public and
loyal fans alike.  Yes, that's right, the circus of the bizarre and talented
and completely entertaining KVMR broadcast crew and friends will bring you a
night to remember with KVMR's Three Ring Circus Talent show-The Greatest
Show in Nevada County.

Many of you may know the radio station well, or perhaps you have your
favorite broadcaster or your favorite show.  What many of you may not know
is the depth; breadth and scope of talent of those folks behind the
microphone.  The talent show will feature musicians, poets, dancers,
jugglers, comedians, and even a fashion show!  What better way to support
KVMR than to see these folks in action.

Tell the salesperson you are a Money Matters Listener and you will get
special discounts,(market conditions permitting). Normal Gold prices are
anywhere from 6 to 11% over New York Spot price. If you are selling, you
should get close to spot when you sell. Buy only standard, or popular gold
or silver coins. I do NOT prefer the generics but would rather have you buy
Silver Eagles or bars. When buying silver, the mark up will be a bit higher
than gold. JH Mint posts prices on its board over the sales counter so you
can see spot at any time. I have dealt with JH MINT myself and found them to
